When Rize entrusted me with their social media platforms, the mission was clear: create a virtual space that connects with customers and redefine the voice within the real estate development industry. In a field often viewed with skepticism, Rize distinguished itself by resisting the commoditization of built environments and focusing on creating positive additions to Metro Vancouver communities.
Managing social communications for a real estate developer requires both industry insight and creativity to navigate content creation effectively. I conducted meticulous competitor research, developed comprehensive content strategies, and crafted a voice that authentically reflected Rize's values. My role encompassed a wide scope, including content production, photography, strategy development, paid media advertising, and graphic design. This holistic approach ensured a cohesive and impactful presence that aligned with Rize’s mission and vision.
Focusing on Surrey, BC—a rapidly growing city in the Lower Mainland—my work highlighted the city’s remarkable transformation and why it is becoming a highly sought-after place to live, work, and play. This effort culminated in the successful launch of LINEA, Rize’s development in Surrey City Centre, which saw the LINEA presentation center attract over 1,700 visitors in its first week. Each of Rize's diverse developments across the Lower Mainland tells a unique story, and my role was to ensure those narratives were thoughtfully communicated, resonating with both the community and prospective buyers.
From capturing mural artists at the Independent at Main to showcasing a day in the life of a Health and Safety Manager at Gold House, the goal was to tell compelling stories. This work extended to unveiling hidden gems within Surrey City Centre.
In Mt. Pleasant, the completion of a long-awaited art installation became a meaningful community celebration, encapsulating the neighborhood's unique charm and rich cultural history. My role centered on authentically communicating Rize's dedication to creating vibrant, community-focused living spaces. This included crafting compelling narratives that connected developments to their communities, highlighting the company’s commitment to thoughtful urban planning and cultural preservation. Through strategic content creation, storytelling, and engagement, my work aimed to elevate Rize’s brand identity while fostering a genuine connection with the people and neighborhoods it serves.
