Redbridge

Role: Producer & Marketing strategist

Agency: Joda Creative

I first learned about Redbridge before the development even had a brand associated with it. At the time, I was diving deep into real estate marketing while spending much of my free time in Squamish, exploring its vast backcountry and hiking trails. Inspired by the opportunity, I pitched my vision to be part of the production team and support the marketing efforts for this exciting new venture.

I vividly recall sitting in Lorne Segal’s office at Kingswood Properties, sharing my story and explaining why this project resonated so deeply with me. He trusted my vision and took a chance, entrusting me to lead the initial marketing efforts for what would eventually become Redbridge. It was a pivotal moment that set the tone for an extraordinary journey.

My initial task was to capture the essence of Squamish across all four seasons, showcasing the unparalleled quality of life and adventure right at its doorstep. I documented kiteboarders, world-class climbing and biking, the vibrant arts and culture scene, and connected with community catalysts and entrepreneurs who represented our target audience. This year-long project allowed me to fully immerse myself in the Squamish lifestyle, crafting a narrative that would deeply resonate with our core audience and authentically reflect the spirit of the area.

The result was a collection of bite-sized videos, curated photography for digital and social media, and stunning landscape shots for renderings. Working on this project sparked a strong desire to consider moving to Squamish—a testament to the area’s undeniable allure.

This project was an incredible learning experience, and I am deeply grateful to Lorne for entrusting me with such a meaningful endeavor. Contributing to Redbridge's early stages not only expanded my skill set but also deepened my connection to the community and the vision behind the project. It remains a highlight in my career and a source of inspiration.
