Redbridge

Role: Producer & Marketing strategist
agency: joda creative

I caught wind of Redbridge before it had brand associated with the development. During this period, I was delving into real estate marketing and spending a significant amount of my free time in Squamish, exploring the expansive backcountry and hiking opportunities. With a pitch to be part of the production team and support the marketing development of this new venture, I approached Lorne Segal from Kingswood Properties.

I vividly remember sitting in Lorne's office, sharing my story and explaining why it mattered. He entrusted me and took a risk by having me lead the initial marketing effort into Squamish, which eventually became Redbridge.

My initial task was to capture Squamish during all four seasons, showcasing the quality of living and adventure right at your doorstep. I documented kiteboarders, world-class climbing and biking, the vibrant arts and culture scene, community catalysts, and met with entrepreneurs who were part of our target audience. This project allowed me to immerse myself in the Squamish scene, working on a year-long project and finding a narrative that would resonate with our core audience.

The result was a collection of bite-sized videos, selected photography for digital web and social media, and landscape photography for renderings. Working on this project fueled my desire to consider moving to Squamish—such is the allure of the area. It was an incredible learning experience, and I am grateful to Lorne for entrusting me with this endeavor. The opportunity to contribute to Redbridge's early stages not only expanded my skill set but also deepened my connection to the community and the potential of the project.
